Haven't been to that "secret spot" in a few months, and after seeing the clouds brewing in the sky at work today i knew i was gonna race straight down to the beach before it set and find a good spot to watch the show. since im fighting off a cold right now i didnt want to go down and shoot, but... well the camera was in the trunk, and i had an extra jacket, so i know ill suffer for it later, but for right now i'm perfectly happy with the hundreds of photos i took today, more to come :)
No need for crazy editing today, my eyes hurt and im getting kinda sick of HDR shooting directly at the sun, if its half exposed or half underexposed... well thats what i get for changing my mind and buying battery packs and sandbags instead of that GND filter i was lookin at. oh well, next month ill be sure to fit a filter into the budget so i can get some more even exposures :)
