The Rafflesia is said to be the biggest flower known world wide. This image is just the inner part without petal enclosing it. The diameter of the entire flower was approx. 90 cm. Found in Malaysia - Cameron Highlands on a jungle trek.
In my comment you can see more pictures from this 'flower'. But actually it's neither a flower nor a mushroom - either way incredible experience seeing something weird like this.
