I met Jesse Sublett at Dominican Joe Coffee Shop in Austin, Texas, today to interview him for one and possible two stories I'm writing. The first one is about how he turned his mystery novel Rock Critic Murders into a multimedia experience. Before turning to writing, Jesse was a founder of the seminal Austin punk rock/garage band the Skunks. Check out his memoir of that era, the murder of his girlfriend and his improbable survival of cancer in Never the Same Again. And, yes, I believe he's showing us his cat on the iPhone!
