Mario Cugini has added a photo to the pool:
Took the opportunity to get a lesson from Rod Goodwin (bluefinart - see people in this photo opposite for link and fantastic LE photography) on long exposure photography down at Longniddry.
It was a really helpful session to understand how he sets up and approaches each shot. This is a blend of two exposures in Photoshop - one for the sea & sky, one for the rocks. Shots were taken using a Lee Big Stopper and a Lee 0.9 Grad Filter.
Looking forward to getting more in to long exposures now - hopefully next time there will be a bit more cloud to give some drama to the sky. Portobello seems to be a popular spot for Edinburgh based LE photographers so will probably give that a shot over the next couple of days. Any comments/advice greatly appreciated as always.
